Markus Hellström leaves Fazer - Lara Saulo appointed Managing Director for Fazer Confectionery

Lara Saulo has been appointed Managing Director for Fazer Confectionery Business Area. In her new role, she succeeds Markus Hellström who has decided to take up a position outside the company. Lara will assume her new role on January 2, 2023. 

Lara Saulo began her career at Fazer in 2017 as EVP, Group Transformation, worked as EVP, People & Transformation since 2019 and as Managing Director for Fazer Bakery Business Area since 2021.

Marko Bergholm will assume the role of acting Head of Fazer Bakery Business Area in addition to his role as Managing Director Bakery Finland.

Markus Hellström will leave Fazer at the latest in May 2023, and until then focus on supporting the project to construct a new state-of-the-art confectionery factory.
