Autumn and harvest festivals are fast approaching. This season is the 25th anniversary of Fazer Puikula bread, and we are bringing an old Fazer Puikula favourite into stores along with brand new four-grain Puikula and an improved Puikula Wholegrain Rye bread. Additionally, Fazer’s gluten-free product family gets new sweet and savoury additions, and the seasonal Christmas products our attention to the upcoming holidays.

Fazer Puikula – part of everyday Finnish life for 25 years

Fazer Puikula Wholegrain Rye 500 g and 330 g

The story of the Fazer Puikula bread began in 1997 when Fazer wanted to introduce a delicious bread suited for Finnish tastes. In the land of a thousand lakes and endless forests, Fazer did not have to look far for inspiration. It came directly from our rich nature that provided inspiration for both the taste and the shape of the bread: a raindrop that falls on the surface of a lake, creating oval rings around it. The Fazer Puikula bread that gets it rye flavour from Finnish rye was born. The bread got its name from its oval shape.

Now Fazer Puikula Wholegrain Rye bread has been renewed and improved to be even tastier. Taste the renewed softly rye-flavoured classic. The grain used is 75% wholegrain rye. Baked in Fazer’s bakery in Lahti. Lactose-free, vegan. Available in shops from 01/08/2022.

New Fazer Puikula breads made from porridge: Softer Muesli and Softer Four-Grains

Two new Fazer Puikula Softer bread variants are available in the new 6 pcs packets.

Fazer Puikula Softer Muesli 6pcs 330g

To celebrate the 25th anniversary, the Muesli Puikula that was much liked is going to be launched as an improved version with a modern twist. These Puikula breads have been made from porridge, which makes them tasty and gives them sweetness from cranberries and apples and nice coarse texture from seeds and grains. The bread has 11% seeds and grains and 6% fruits and berries. A tasty bread suitable for a wide range of situations, made in Fazer’s bakery in Vantaa from Finnish flours. Lactose-free, vegan. Available in shops from 23/08/2022.

Fazer Puikula Softer Four Grains 6 pcs 330 g

Additionally, the Softer wholegrain bread is renewed as the wonderfully soft, four-grains bread. The tasty wholegrain multigrain bread made is made from porridge and is especially well suited for everyday use. The grain used is 70% wholegrain. Made in Fazer’s bakery in Vantaa from Finnish flours. Lactose-free, vegan. Available in shops from 23/08/2022.

Delicious Fazer Bistro Sourdough bread joins the series of breads from the world

Fazer Bistro Sourdough bread 600 g

Sourdough bread is popular in Sweden and is characterised by its rich, slightly chewy structure and an aromatic, delicious taste. Oats and linseeds add pleasant character to the bread which is tasty even on its own. Try it toasted too! Fazer Bistro is especially well suited for those moments between the main meals of the day when you feel like having something delicious and easy to eat either as a snack or even as small treat to cheer up the everyday life. New products from Fazer’s gluten-free bakery in Lahti

Fazer Gluten-Free Sour Buckwheat slices 3 pcs 240 g

The gluten-free sliced sourdough bread, with its excellent taste profile, is a new addition to the selection of Fazer’s gluten-free sliced dark breads. Baked using sourdough without added yeast. Made with Finnish buckwheat. The buckwheat slices are a Heart Symbol product as well as being dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan. Fazer Gluten-Free Sour Buckwheat slices are made in Fazer’s gluten-free bakery in Lahti. Available in shops from 23/08/2022.

Fazer Gluten-Free Gingerbread Dough 400 g is amazingly easy to use, making it sure that even a less experienced baker is sure to succeed. Fazer Gluten-Free Runeberg’s tart 2 pcs 155 g

A classic seasonal product with jam core. People with almond allergy have previously not been able to enjoy the season of Runeberg’s tarts, but the new Fazer Gluten-Free Runeberg’s tart is made without almonds and can also be enjoyed by those who are allergic to almonds. The tarts have been made with butter and are made in Fazer’s gluten-free bakery in Lahti. Lactose-free. Available in shops for a limited time from 02/01/2023 to 04/02/2023.

Reissumies can now be enjoyed also as a hamburger

The Reissumies Hamburger is based on Reissumies rye and oat breads, which are healthier and have a coarser structure than typical hamburger buns and provide a new type of structure to the hamburgers in addition to delicious taste. Reissumies Hamburgers are packed in carton packings similar to those used with the sandwiches, making it easy and clean to eat. The hamburgers can be heated in a microwave for 1 minute (750 W). Please remember to remove the packing and the sauce pack before heating. Available in shops from 29/08/2022.

Fazer Pizza Dough 600 g

Fazer Pizza Dough is an easy way to make an authentic and delicious pizza base. Defrost the dough and create your own delicious pizza with your favourite toppings! The pizza dough is defrosted for 2–3 hours in room temperature or overnight in the fridge, after which the dough is ready to be used. It is also possible to quickly defrost the dough in a microwave. Fazer Kiireetön festive loaf 400 g

Mildly spicy loaf that tops of the festive dishes. Suitable for both Christmas and Easter. Contains candied orange peel jam, raisins, aniseed and fennel, which give the loaf its wonderfully spicy flavour. The dough is allowed to rest for a long period, which gives the loaf its delicious rich taste. The moist dough makes the load exceptionally soft and the bread will keep its freshness for a long time.
