Fazer is opening a new Fazer Café in Kaisaniemi. Fazer started its café operations 130 years ago, when young Karl Fazer opened a French-Russian café on Kluuvikatu in Helsinki. The new café, opened today, continues this tradition by offering both traditional and new delicacies to its customers.

The new Kaisaniemi café is the 16th Fazer Café in Finland. The café serves a comprehensive breakfast and lunch and offers an enjoyable café environment for evenings and weekends. The customer can assemble the breakfast from a selection of various small items, or enjoy a lunch consisting of soup, baked potatoes and grilled toasts. The extensive salad buffet offers the customer the possibility to assemble a salad of his or her choice. For the celebrations of the spring, Fazer Café Kaisaniemi offers  Fazer cakes, prepared by hand by the confectioners, and a regular day may be brightened by various pastries like the vegan pistachio twist made with Fazer Aito oat drink.

“As the Covid 19 situation is slowly improving, we’re looking firmly into the future. By opening new cafés, we can also offer employment within an industry, which has been heavily affected by the pandemic, and strengthen our presence in new areas. On Thursday, we will also open a renewed Gateau bakery café in Karhupuisto park in Helsinki’s Kallio district,” says Managing Director Miika Kostilainen from Fazer Retail Finland.

In honour of Fazer’s 130 anniversary, we will in connection with the opening of Fazer Café Kaisaniemi hand out delicious Fazer Geisha Crunchy novelty chocolates to the first 130 customers of the new café.

Fazer Café Kaisaniemi is located at Kaisaniemenkatu 6. The opening hours are as follows:

Mon–Fri 07:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sat 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sun 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
