The Fazer Café chain expands – Fazer Café Lauttasaari to be opened on 23 December 2020
Fazer will return to the Helsinki district of Lauttasaari and open a café on 23 December 2020.
Fazer Café Lauttasaari will serve treats familiar from other cafés throughout the day: in the morning, you can make up your breakfast from small portions and lunch includes such delicacies as soup and grilled toasts. For special occasions, the café has Fazer cakes, and you can brighten up your day with different pastries like the pistachio twist made with Fazer Aito oat drink. You can also pick up your online shopping from Fazer Café Lauttasaari. Orders can be paid online when placing them or in the café when picking up.
“After more than 30 years, Fazer is returning to Lauttasaari, and we’ve already been received with so much warmth. We hope that this will become a meeting place for Lauttasaari residents and visitors,” says Miika Kostilainen, Managing Director at Fazer Retail Finland.
The Lauttasaari café will be the 14th Fazer Café in Finland, and the second to open in 2020. Fazer’s café operations started in 1891 on Kluuvikatu in Helsinki. The new café will be located at Lauttasaarenkatu 29. The opening hours are as follows:
Mon–Fri 07:30–20:00
Sat 09:00–18:00
Sun 10:00–18:00
Safety first
We have paid special attention to the safety of our employees and customers in the café. Customers are advised on how to conduct their business safely on our website, in newsletters and at café entrances. The customer path has been designed with care, and stickers reminding of safety distances have been attached to the floor. Plexiglass safety barriers have been installed between cashiers and customers, and we recommend contactless payment.
