Chenille Perry, a Complaints Analyst at Getinge, recently stepped out of her comfort zone to participate in Getinge’s 2024 company video, showcasing the medtech company’s dedication to life-saving technology.

Getinge’s new company video features an all-employee cast. For Chenille Perry, the opportunity to participate in it was both exciting and challenging.

“It was a chance to represent Getinge in a meaningful way,” she explains. “I’ve always focused on my work behind the scenes, but I couldn’t pass up this chance to do something new.”

The theme of the video – darkness and light – holds special meaning for Chenille.

“The video shows how Getinge brings light through passion and innovation,” she says. “It’s inspiring to be part of a company that confronts adversity and helps people in their toughest moments.”

In the video, she portrayed a nurse and mother, a role that resonated deeply with her own life.

“Like my character, I’ve raised my son while balancing work. It’s a struggle that many working parents face, and it was meaningful to bring that reality to life on screen.”

Looking back, Chenille describes the experience as unforgettable.

“Initially, I was nervous, but the supportive atmosphere created by my colleagues and the film crew made all the difference. They encouraged us every step of the way. It was amazing to meet my ‘film son’ and work alongside colleagues I hadn’t met before. I’d recommend this experience to others, even those with no acting background!”

Chenille left the set feeling accomplished and even open to more acting.

“The experience was fun, even if stepping into a new role was a bit challenging at first. I’d definitely consider doing it again!”

Reflecting on Getinge’s purpose, Chenille adds:

“It’s rewarding to work for a company that strives to make life-saving technology accessible for more people. There’s a real sense of pride in knowing we’re helping to save lives.”
