Getinge announces the US launch of the Maquet Yuno II, offering the versatility of multiple configurations to support advanced orthopedic techniques with one surgical table while reducing the complexity of setup.

“At Getinge, we appreciate the increased need for hospitals to reduce costs by investing in safe, flexible OR tables in conventional or minimally invasive surgery procedures,” remarked Joseph Knight, Senior Sales Director, Surgical Workflows at Getinge US. “We are excited to offer the Maquet Yuno II, which provides versatility for multiple configurations supporting a variety of procedures as well as enhanced ergonomics and accessibility for the surgeon.”

About the Maquet Yuno II

Maquet Yuno II provides the versatility of multiple configurations to support advanced orthopedic techniques with one surgical table, which can improve clinical access and reduce the complexity of product setup. These configurations allow physicians to perform orthopedic, trauma, spinal and minimally invasive joint procedures, including Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) for hip procedures and Shoulder Arthroscopies. Interchangeable table tops increase the utilization of the Maquet Yuno II table and accommodate multiple advanced configurations. Hospitals no longer need to rely on specialty surgical tables, thereby, increasing the table’s return on investment.

Features and Benefits

The Maquet Yuno II offers improved patient safety with an automatic lock function that prevents injury from accidental release of the traction bar. In addition it offers more flexibility with an elongation adapter for hip scopes which increases the range of possible procedures. The Maquet Yuno II table tops are compatible with the existing line of Maquet accessories for use in all surgical procedures, maximizing utilization of the surgical table.

The Maquet Yuno II surgical table is available for purchase in April 2019. Click here for more information on Maquet Yuno II and visit www.getinge.com\us for information on the entire Getinge portfolio of solutions.
