Getinge postpones the Annual General Meeting due to COVID-19

Getinge’s Board of Directors has decided to postpone the Annual General Meeting as a precautionary action to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Getinge intends to hold the Annual General Meeting on June 26, 2020. A new notice to the Annual General Meeting will be published no later than four weeks before the new date for the meeting.

Based on the dissemination of COVID-19, the current notification situation and the Swedish government’s decision to ban public gatherings and events with more than 50 persons, Getinge’s Board of Directors has decided to postpone the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to a later date. The purpose is to protect the visitors at the AGM and to help to further slow down the spread in the society as well as reduce the burden on the health care.

The Annual General Meeting was originally scheduled to take place on April 22, 2020, at Hotel Tylösand in Halmstad.
