Getinge presents intensive care portfolio at European Society of Intensive Care Medicine Congress 2019
Getinge announces its commitment to the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, supporting the education and training of clinicians in the intensive care environment.
Getinge partners with clinicians to ensure that every treatment for post-operative patients, those patients with acute medical conditions and for neonates, goes according to plan with improved clinical outcomes and reduced length of stay. “Our experienced intensive care specialists collaborate with clinicians to find the right innovative advanced life support solutions and patient monitoring technologies’ shared Markus Stirner-Schilling, Senior Director, Acute Care Therapies, Global Commercial Operations. “In addition to the booth, Getinge will support the training initiatives taking place at this event with Cardiohelp being used in the Simulation Center. All registered congress participants will have the opportunity to use the intensive care unit (ICU) products and solutions in the hands-on workshops”.
This international congress will see Getinge present the ICU portfolio including Servo ventilators, Cardiohelp extracorporeal life support system and PulsioFlex with PiCCO advanced patient monitoring.
Getinge will also host a clinical symposium with Updates in the Care of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and Cardiogenic Shock patients. This event will take place on September 30, at 12.30pm.
