Inauguration of Getinge training center in Dubai

Today, a Getinge training center was inaugurated in Dubai in premises of the medtech company’s distributor MPC Healthcare. Equipped with several Getinge solutions, this place will be a knowledge hub for external visitors in the region.

Getinge’s new training facility in UAE, located in the premises of the medtech company’s distributor MPC Healthcare in Dubai Healthcare city, was today inaugurated. A delegation, headed by Dr Maja Fjaestad, state secretary at the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, Sweden, attended for a guided tour and to cut the ribbon.

“It is a platform to introduce advanced therapies and solutions and to showcase innovations in healthcare and medical technology. In this new center, external visitors can experience and interact with Getinge’s sterile reprocessing solutions as well as OR tables, surgical lights and intensive care products. The facilities are adapted for training and together with MPC Healthcare we expect this to be an ideal hub for knowledge sharing,” says Salah Malek, President Middle East & Africa at Getinge.
