The acquisition of Handheld serves several purposes for MilDef's expansion. In terms of products, we will be strengthened in areas where MilDef previously had some gaps, in terms of organization we will gain access to priority geographical markets and in terms of operations both businesses will be equipped with complementary skills and capabilities. The Nautiz X41, with a full keypad, has been a popular device with our customers . In addition to the OS upgrade, the new pistol grip has options for UHF or a long-range scanner that can scan 1D/2D labels or tags from 15 cm up to 15 m. Together with the Nautiz X4’s 4G WWAN functionality, it gives customers the choice of staying connected to the backend system even while scanning outdoors.

All new devices will come with Android 11, but with this operating system upgrade current users can can keep the familiar and functional device they know, but also add the improved security features of Android 11. Plus, the Enterprise Recommended certification proves that the Algiz RT8 has been certified by Google to meet stringent enterprise-focused requirements, adding an extra level of quality assurance for our customers.
