HiQ SIGNS NEW FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT WITH THREE FINNISH GOVERNMENT AGENCIES
HiQ has signed a new framework agreement with the Finnish Agency of Rural Affairs and its purchasing parties. The new four-year agreement gives HiQ the status of the preferred supplier in quality assurance services.
- From eight approved suppliers HiQ was selected as the primary supplier in the area of quality assurance, and as a secondary supplier in system development, something we take great pride in. In addition to the specified system development projects, the agreement includes advanced development as well as maintenance of the existing information systems within the participating agencies, says Jukka Rautio, CEO HiQ Finland.
The agreement, where also the Finnish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and the Finnish Food Safety Authority Evira are purchasing parties, covers services in four development areas.
- HiQ has extensive knowledge about quality assurance and has been working with the public sector for more than fifteen years. We see this framework agreement as proof of our position as a trustworthy IT-partner in the Finnish market, and see great potential in our further growth in Finland, says Jukka Rautio, CEO HiQ Finland.
About the participating agencies:
The Finnish Agency for Rural Affairs serves farm enterprises, farmers, rural microenterprises, and rural development actors from village associations to universities. The Agency manages the implementation of support payments to farmers, financial and development aid in rural areas and market support.
The Finnish Food Safety Authority Evira aims at ensuring food safety, promoting animal health and welfare, and developing the prerequisites for plant and animal production, and plant health.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry steers the policy on sustainable use of natural resources. Legislative work is carried out as part of the Finnish Government and the EU institutions and decision-making.
