MEET HiQ AT VITALIS – 5-7 APRIL IN GÖTEBORG

Vitalis is the Nordic region's leading meeting place within digital healthcare. HiQ has strengthened its position within the e-health field in the Nordics over the last few years and we will be on site to tell you more about what we do and discuss opportunities in this important area.

“E-health is an area in which HiQ is gaining ground and we are looking forward to meeting visitors at Vitalis and talking to them about the opportunities that digitalisation creates. Our aim is to make people’s everyday lives simpler and we see healthcare as an area in which technology can really help to make a difference to people’s lives,” says Jenny Sperens, Head of Corporate Communications at HiQ.

In recent years HiQ has won and completed a number of significant assignments within the healthcare area. Below are a few examples of HiQ’s work and collaborations.

Nervecentre

HiQ is a partner to Nervecentre and has exclusive rights to implement Nervecentre’s innovative mobile care process support in Sweden and Denmark. The solution provides process and communication support that increases patient safety at the same time as increasing care productivity. Healthcare staff can work in a more patient-centric way (bedside) and access information in real-time. This simplifies processes and saves time through factors such as decision support and smoother handovers as well as simpler things such as indicating bed availability. The solution is in production across a broad base in the UK, where it works as a support for thousands of healthcare workers.

Succce

HiQ is working at the intensive care department of Blekinge Hospital in Sweden together with others such as Fujitsu, Nicon and Google to develop an advanced decision support system for alert management with the help of smart glasses (Google Glass). With the glasses, healthcare staff can see information and alerts from the equipment that is monitoring the patients and the aim is to reduce the time between alert and treatment. This is believed to lead to higher quality and efficiency of care, as well as reduced stress levels with the reduction in the noise from bleeping alarms.

Vården i siffror

Vården i siffror (Healthcare in Numbers) presents a variety of statistics and results within Swedish healthcare and includes all 21 county councils. The service can be used by healthcare providers, county councils and private individuals. HiQ is commissioned by Sveriges Kommuner och Landsting (the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions) to take responsibility of further development and management.

Diabetes Tools

HiQ has won the assignment of further developing Diabetes Tools' digital platforms. Platforms that make care and everyday life simpler for people with diabetes, as well as save time and money for healthcare providers. Replacing logbooks and paper documentation with new smart solutions also reduces the risk of errors and misunderstandings.

Diacor

HiQ has developed a new e-health solution for Finnish Diacor, helping the medical and healthcare company to raise the country’s digital healthcare to a new level. The new DiacorPlus is Finland’s most comprehensive mobile clinic and makes it possible for Diacor’s clients to “meet” their doctor via live chat or video, as well as access personal health-related information, such as laboratory results, in real-time.

Other assignments in which HiQ has created digital solutions that make life simpler for people include Tågprator and ResLedaren, which make it easier for people with various types of functional impairments to travel by train or public transport. HiQ has also developed Tidning för Alla, which makes it possible for those with reading disabilities, such as visually impaired people, to access news sites and articles.
