In early 2024, Hufvudstaden is set to welcome two tenants to its redeveloped Hästhuvudet 13 property – at Sveavägen 21 – on one of central Stockholm’s best-known and busiest thoroughfares, where Sveavägen meets Kungsgatan.

Global consultancy Simon-Kucher is expanding and making an internal move with Hufvudstaden to office space of approximately 900 square metres, thereby almost quadrupling its presence at Sveavägen 21.

HCL Tech, a multinational IT consultancy, also leased office space at Hästhuvudet prior to its renovation and is returning to its office space of around 550 square metres.

“Hästhuvudet will be ready for occupancy in early 2024 and we’re delighted to welcome Simon-Kucher and HCL once again as Sveavägen 21 tenants,” says Frida Wijkström, Business Area Director Stockholm, Hufvudstaden.

Hufvudstaden’s Hästhuvudet 13 building is currently undergoing a major refurbishment which will see the property improved and modernised with a focus on maintaining the character of the original building, while at the same time incorporating the latest advanced technologies in terms of energy efficiency.

The building is a mixture of neo-romanticism and functionalism where Hufvudstaden has sought to retain its original character and architectural style.

“This clearly demonstrates the importance of a central location and proximity to transport links for our tenants and how we strive to continually develop our long-term collaborations with clients,” adds Wijkström.
