ICA Bank’s subsidiary ICA Försäkring (ICA Insurance) will open for business on 1 October, initially offering property & casualty insurance to private customers. The customer offering will include, among other things, a locked-in premium for five years as long as the customer is claims-free, and ICA bonus.

As previously announced by ICA Gruppen, ICA Bank has received permission from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority to conduct insurance business and has formed an subsidiary, ICA Försäkring (ICA Insurance). Starting on 1 October ICA Insurance will offer property & casualty insurance to private customers, including householders, homeowners and motor insurance.

“We want to reward loyal ICA customers, and this will show in our offering. One way of doing this is to offer a guaranteed, fixed premium for five years to customers who remain claims-free. We will be the only insurer in the market to do so,” comments Bo Lagergren, President of ICA Insurance.

Customers with ICA Card will receive ICA bonus on the insurance premium. ICA Bank has had an insurance offering since previously, but through external partners.
