Investment in Min Doktor completed

ICA Gruppen, through Apotek Hjärtat, has completed its investment in 42% of the shares in Min Doktor, in accordance with the agreement communicated on 13 September 2018.

The acquisition was contingent upon the fulfilment of customary terms and regulatory approval. All terms have now been met.

ICA Gruppen’s investment in Min Doktor consists of a cash capital contribution of SEK 335 million plus ICA Gruppen’s other contributions, including the Minutkliniken business, which is valued at SEK 225 million. Minutkliniken is now part of Min Doktor. Min Doktor is currently planning for a rapid expansion of the number of clinics, which will primarily be located adjacent to ICA stores. The capital contribution will cover the operation’s capital need in the coming years.

ICA Gruppen’s share in Min Doktor’s earnings will be reported as an associated company of Apotek Hjärtat.
