    ICA to cut its food waste in half by 2025

    ICA Gruppen is adopting a new Group goal for reduced food waste which calls for a halving of food waste from warehouses and stores in Sweden and the Baltic countries by 2025 compared with the base year 2016.     Greater sustainability focus in ICA Gruppen’s management and board

    To further strengthen ICA’s sustainability work, Kerstin Lindvall has been named Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer and as a member of ICA Gruppen’s Management Team. In conjunction with this a sustainability committee is being formed in ICA Gruppen’s board to increase focus on CR issues.“Our ambition is to be a leader in corporate responsibility, an area in which we currently have a prominent position.     ICA Sweden funds local sustainability work in developing countries
