DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A MALL MODEL?
THE Mall Blackburn is asking the people of Lancashire to be the stars of its September fashion show!
To celebrate the first full year of the refurbished shopping centre and the new arrival of Blackburn Market, a fun packed fashion show packed with glitz and glamour as well as great clothes and accessories is being staged on September 24th.
The Mall Blackburn is looking for four to six individuals of all ages from children and teenagers to young adults, mums and dads, to be models and strut their stuff in the style of all the great professionals!
Auditions for the fashion show take place on Wednesday August 17th from 10am- 4pm in The Mall Blackburn at Victoria Court, next to the Ask Me Point and potential candidates will be asked to fill out a brief application form and have their photograph taken.
The selected candidates, chosen by a team of judges, will receive a £200 Mall Gift Card and may also get the opportunity to star in The Mall TV commercial.
Candidates need to be available for the fashion show on Saturday September 24 throughout the day, and also for possible filming of the TV commercial at the beginning of September.
Loraine Jones, General Manager of The Mall Blackburn, said they were looking for individuals to showcase stylish Autumn fashion.
She said: “Who better to model the great fashion wear and accessories available here than our own customers? We’re looking for four to six individuals of all ages to be models for the day, and there’s even a possibility they might find themselves famous if they’re also featured in our TV adverts too!
“The fashion show has been organised to celebrate the great progress that has been made at The Mall Blackburn – both in terms of a successful year of trading in the fantastic new facilities and also the arrival of Blackburn Market which since it opened earlier this summer has been attracting lots of new customers.”
