SUPER STYLISH SHOPPERS SET FOR CATWALK DEBUT!
The Mall Blackburn has announced the four winners of its Lancashire’s Got Style model search!
Danielle Hunter aged 20, from Accrington, Chris Ham, 34 from Darwen, Christopher Hodgson, 16, from Blackburn and Nafisa Karbhari, 19, from Blackburn, are set to make their catwalk debut at a fashion extravaganza in The Mall on Saturday 29th September.
They beat hundreds of hopefuls in a model search during the summer and were part of a line-up of twelve finalists. Shoppers have been voting on The Mall’s website and at the Ask Me Point since August 10th.
The fashion show, which will also include a celebrity appearance by a soap favourite, will be a celebration of everything The Mall Blackburn has to offer and the four winners will be a true representation of the people of Lancashire.
More details, including the announcement of the celebrity will be released in the coming weeks.
Loraine Jones, General Manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: “I would personally like to congratulate Danielle, Chris, Christopher and Nafisa on being the winners of our model search as I am sure everyone will agree, the competition certainly was tough!
“We took the decision to involve real Lancashire people in our catwalk shows as we wanted to involve our shoppers and celebrate our wonderful county!
“We are extremely excited about our event on Saturday 29th September and will be announcing which soap star will be making a special guest appearance soon!”
Last year, Lancashire shoppers took part in a fashion show to officially launch the completion of The Mall’s £66m redevelopment.
The event, which also included celebrity autograph signing sessions with Coronation Street’s Katherine Kelly and Chris Fountain, was hailed a huge success.
