Knutsford-based telecoms firm Concert has once again proved its commitment to customer service by securing industry accreditation for all members of its support team.

All support staff at the hosted telephony and connectivity specialists, including apprentices, now hold ITIL qualifications – demonstrating Concert’s pledge to invest and develop its service team and provide class leading support for its clients.

ITIL – or The Information Technology Infrastructure Library – is the world’s most widely adopted approach for IT Service Management. It provides a practical framework for identifying, planning, delivering and supporting IT services.

Neil Hollands, Concert Managing Director, said: “Our support team is committed to delivering high-quality IT services with a proactive approach to problem solving. This allows us to anticipate and prevent issues wherever possible.

“We want our customers’ challenges to be dealt with quickly and effectively with minimal disruption, informing our customers every step of the way until they are happy any problems are fixed.”

The qualifications coincide with the launch of new ITIL-aligned service desk software, which was a significant investment for the firm and will allow Concert to further support their clients.

The new desk has enabled Concert to identify causes to service incidents and measure how effective continued service improvements are.

In the future, Concert will roll out a new self-service portal that will allow customers to raise and track their own incidents.
