For our Turku site, we are seeking a 

TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

In this post, you will lead the development of digital and technical solutions – and the creation of the services they enable – alongside our business areas and delivery chain. Key duties include the development of dosage and washing equipment technology, and providing support for experts in the field. Other key tasks include the planning and implementation of projects directly for customers, both independently and with the help of our experts. As a development manager, you will also participate in project work and support the business area's productisation of technical solutions. In addition to Finland, we operate in Scandinavia, the Baltic countries and Russia. 

We expect you to have an uncompromising customer-service mindset and at least two years' experience of design and installation work. Ideally, you have a technical education (Bachelor or Master of Science (Technology)) and master the basics of electrical and measurement technology. We will regard it as an asset if, in your work or studies, you have gained experience of designing and installing basic and automatic dosage systems, of IoT/WIFI systems, of integrating analogue/digital sensors with mechanical systems, and of creating mechanical drawings. Familiarity with areas such as technical solutions for the food or metal industry, or catering firms, will help you to succeed in this task. Good teamwork skills, and a strong organisational grip and systematic approach to documentation in challenging tasks will assist you in your daily work. Fluent interaction and communication skills in both Finnish and English would also be valuable. Swedish language skills will be viewed as an advantage. You must be prepared to travel in order to fulfill your duties.
