Now, we are strengthening Kiilto’s venturing team – Kiilto Ventures – and looking for a
VENTURE DEVELOPMENT LEAD
In this position, you will play a key role in driving and supporting Kiilto’s venturing activity. You will be responsible for managing individual opportunities from scoping to potential partnership and/or investment. You will screen, engage, evaluate and build new business by connecting ambitious startups with Kiilto.
Your goal will be to spot opportunities for building a brighter tomorrow and operating on the outer horizons of our core businesses. Various internal and external stakeholders will be connected to this process. Good project management and communication skills are therefore required in order to be successful. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to shape the strategic choices made within Kiilto Ventures.
You will report and work in close cooperation with Kiilto’s CBDO. Ideally, you will be located in the Helsinki region, but as we are the regional market leader in our new Nordic area, flexibility about being located elsewhere in the area would also be an advantage.
In this position, you will challenge the status quo and have the opportunity to shape the future of professional hygiene, industrial and/or the construction business, as Kiilto Ventures strives towards a sustainable, safe and clean world.
The background that would be the best fit for this job:
Strong experience in managing and evaluating early stage investments and/or business opportunities
- A proven track record in building new business and an interest in renewing industries
- A Master’s-level university degree in a relevant subject
- Strong international experience and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Business and service design skills combined with an analytical mindset are considered an asset
- Experience of working at the interface between startups and corporates is seen as an advantage
- Fluent communication in English and other languages (Swedish, Russian and Finnish) is considered an asset
