Kungsleden renegotiates lease agreement with Rinkeby-Kista district municipality for approximately 10,000 sq.m.

Kungsleden has completed an early renegotiation of its lease with Rinkeby-Kista district municipality, covering 9,843 sq.m. of the Reykjavik 2 property in the Kista City cluster. 

"We are very pleased to be able to help the district municipality in creating new, modern and efficient spaces within existing premises at Borgarfjordsgatan 14," says Sven Stork, Regional Manager in Stockholm at Kungsleden.

The new agreement runs for five years and is a green lease agreement with a total rental volume amounting to approximately SEK 117 million. The tenant gets access to the new spaces in mid- November. 

Kista is one of Stockholm's largest office areas as well as one of Europe's leading and most well-established ICT clusters – a European Silicon Valley. Over 40,000 people work and study daily in the area, creating a unique environment for innovation and entrepreneurship. Kungsleden has a leading role in contributing to Kista’s development and is currently the third largest property owner in the area.
