Kungsleden signes a new lease agreement covering 15 300 sq.m with existing tenant Försäkringskassan
Kungsleden (PUBL) extends the rental relationship with Försäkringskassan in Östersund through a new lease agreement of six years and a total rental value of MSEK 125. In accordance with the new agreement, premises are converted to an activity-based office of 15 300 sq.m. in the Karlslund 5: 2 property. Rent per sq.m is increased by SEK 300.
The lease with Försäkringskassan is a so-called "green lease" - an agreement between tenant and landlord regarding common measures to maintain or improve the premises environmental performance. By arranging the office space to suit a more activity based way of working, Försäkringskassan has reduced their need of space from 16 500 sq.m to 15 300 sq.m. The remaining 1 200 sq.m will now accommodate a new tenant. The Karlslund 5: 2 property is located in the middle of the Kungsleden clusters covering 79 000 sq.m, in central Östersund, close to the Gustav 111 square and the Central station.
