Lesjöfors sees a bright future in Latvia and has doubled the production area for gas springs. Additionaly, investments in  new equipment for dynamic gas springs have been made.

Lesjöfors Gas Springs was established in Latvia in 2008. About 1 500 different gas springs articels are being produced and supplied to the European market. In January 2014, the company moved to a new production site.
In the new premises the production area is doubled, from the previous 700 square metres to 1 400 square metres. This allows a much more effective production flow and there is also an additional stocking area that serves customers in a better way.

Investments in new product line

Considerable investments in new equipment have also been made for the production of dynamic gas springs. These gas springs are more often used to replace the hydraulic gas springs in modern cars.

Top delivery performance

Customer service is a top priority of the Latvian company and the working methods have been very successful. In 2013 the delivery performance skyrocketed and 100 percent of shipments reached customers in time.

„It is a big challenge for us to stay in top also in 2014 as the turnover is going to increase reasonably, but we will do everything we can to outperform again”, says Girts Ancevskis, MD of Lesjöfors Gas Springs in Latvia.
