Institute of Spring Technology membership
From 2011, all companies in the Lesjöfors Group are members of the IST. The institute is an international and independent centre for mechanical spring technology.
Lesjöfors has for a long time collaborated with and used services offered by the Institute of Spring Technology located in Sheffield UK. Now all companies within the Lesjöfors Group have joined the institute as members.
News and tests within spring development
The institute provides specific mechanical spring laboratory capacity, from material investigations to product performance tests. The membership also gives a number of other advantages, access to technical reports and a database with international published technical reports, service regarding material and spring standards and a newsletter with the latest technical news and developments. The institute also develops software for design and dimensioning of different types of spring.
The membership directory also gives the opportunity to publish and promote the Lesjöfors Group around the world.
