Lesjöfors China approved for automotive business

After a two year long process, Lesjöfors is certified for TS 16949 also in China. The certification is a quality mark for yet another company in the group.

Lesjöfors China has for many years supplied springs and strip components for the Chinese market in several industries. In the beginning the company focused on the telecom market. Since 2012?? the offer to the market has been broadened to include also automotive customers.

Certification thanks to dedicated work

The automotive market has strongly demanded the TS16949 certificate, which is a significant quality mark of suppliers to the business. During the last two years the target has therefore been to live up to the demands.

“We are very happy to announce that our dedicated work has been successful and we have now been awarded the certificate for TS 16949:2009”, says Mikael Andersson, MD Lesjöfors China.

New opportunities for European customers

The certification, together with continuous investments in manufacturing equipment and technology development, opens up new opportunities for customers in Europe. They can use Lesjöfors China for supplying the demand in China and especially in the automotive industry.
