Lesjöfors China awarded “Excellent Quality Supplier of 2018” by Danfoss
At a ceremony on March 25th in Tianjin, Lesjöfors China´s MD Mikael Andersson received the prestigious award “Excellent Quality Supplier of 2018” by Danfoss, one of the leading actors within climate and energy technology. A dedicated work with improvements within quality and other areas has paid off.
For the past few years, Lesjöfors China has worked hard with improving operations, safety, 5S, quality methods, systems and mindset. This has resulted in satisfied customers and a good growth of the company. A part of this work was to make sure they are up to date with the latest quality and environment standards for ISO9001, ISO14001 and IATF16949 as well as several investments and education in the quality area with improved capability and knowledge as a result.
Mikael Andersson, MD at Lesjöfors China is very pleased with the progress:
“All quality KPI´s are very much improved and we see a quality loss cost improvement year by year with close to 50% in the past years and the external rejections are nowadays very few. This award from Danfoss is the latest mark showing that we are doing the right thing.”
