Lesjöfors Latvia shared success story at international conference
Lesjöfors in Latvia was invited as speaker on Transbaltica 2015 in Liepaja. Girts Ancevskis got the opportunity to tell the audience the story behind the company´s business success in the Baltics.
On June 5 the international conference Transbaltica 2015 was held in Liepaja, Latvia for representatives from the transport and energy sectors in the Baltic States, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. The purpose of the conference was to introduce Liepaja as an industrial city where many industrial activities are going on and consequently a good place for a logistic centre.
A unique way of developing business
Girts Ancevskis, Member of Board of Lesjöfors in Latvia was one of the speakers on the conference. He told the audience the story how Lesjöfors established business in Latvia twelve years ago and the measures taken to become the leading spring supplier in the region.
“The business culture of Lesjöfors is unique which combines both global and local presence. I also spoke about how we make synergies within the group through exchange of competence and experience, which in the long run adds value to our products”, says Girts Ancevskis.
A top of mind brand
A concrete result of the conference participation was that one of the major newspapers will publish a story about Lesjöfors Gas Springs in Latvia. An important contributing factor to the progress that Lesjöfors has made in Latvia in the quite short time period is fruitful marketing activities initiated by MD Ingars Jaunzems. The focused business strategies have altogether been very successful.
