New high-speed machinery expands capacity in Denmark
From August, Lesjöfors Tinglev in Denmark has expanded their production capacity with new machinery from Wafios to enable a faster production and an increased spring range.
The new FUL 56 Wafios machine is a universal compression spring coiling machine which enables Lesjöfors Tinglev to increase their range in wire diameter from Ø4,50 mm to Ø6,00 mm. The wider spring range has already resulted in new business with existing customers and more enquiries are continuously coming. Besides the opportunity in new business, the machinery also enables high-speed production, which is positive for delivery times.

Brian Jensen, MD of Lesjöfors Tinglev comments on the investment:
“So far, we have moved a trading item from another supplier to our own production site with great success and this is just the beginning. We are now more competitive with a considerably higher capacity, and can take on more projects. The cost of the new machinery was EUR 375 000.
