Training and networking in focus at in-house technical convention

Since many years, technicians throughout the Lesjöfors group get together annually to exchange experiences and learn from each other. The highly skilled network enables the most optimal technical solution to every project.

In a true networking spirit, good ideas are shared with colleagues at the annual technical meeting. The technicians are among other things presented testing that has been done to investigate unknown areas of technology. The meetings are held at different companies within the group, so that the participants get the chance to study how each company works in practice.

“Via this network and the close cooperation between the companies in the group we secure that we share and use all collective experience and know-how that we possess to produce the best solutions for our customers”, says Stefan Musslinder, Development Manager at the Lesjöfors Group.

Technical innovations and discussions

Since the springs and pressings businesses face different technical challenges, there are separate meeting for these business areas. Both are two days meetings. The first day includes presentations of internal technical projects, one external presenter with connection to our activities and a group work session on a chosen technical subject. The second day is dedicated to the company hosting the meeting, with workshop tour and presentations of their specific areas of expertise. The evening activities and the dinner then contain discussions on all the subjects that did not fit into the agenda.

Meetings in Germany this year

This year, both meetings were held in Germany. The Pressings technical meeting was arranged by Velleuer in the beginning of October and Stumpp + Schüle hosted the Springs meeting at the end of the same month. The conclusion from the participants was that a close cooperation with our customers already during the development phase of their products will enable Lesjöfors to develop the most optimal spring solution.

“All of our teams are eager to be challenged by new customer projects, so please contact us with all your spring requirements”, says Stefan Musslinder.
