    Interim Report January - September 2023

    Reporting period January – September · Net sales increased 15.9 per cent to SEK 18,015 (15,550) million.     Lifco acquires HGT in Germany

    Lifco  has signed an agreement to acquire a majority of the shares in the German company HGT Hydraulikgreifer-Technologie GmbH . The company is a niche manufacturer of attachments for material handling machines.  In 2022, HGT reported net sales of approximately EUR 19 million. The company is based in Ilsede, Germany and has 35 employees. HGT will be consolidated in Business Area Demolition & Tools. Consolidation is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2023. The acquisition will not have any significant effect on Lifco’s earnings

    Lifco acquires Sailmakers Group in the Netherlands

    Lifco  has signed an agreement to acquire the majority of the shares in the Dutch company Sailmakers Group BV. The company is a manufacturer of tarpaulins, mainly for the transport sector. In 2022, Sailmakers Group reported net sales of approximately 7.2 MEUR. The company is based in Ede, the Netherlands, and has 53 employees. Sailmakers Group will be consolidated in Business Area Systems Solutions, division Transportation Products. Consolidation is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2023.     Lifco  has signed an agreement to acquire a majority of the shares in the UK company Ortho-Care (UK) Ltd . The company is a supplier of orthodontic products to dentists in the UK.  In 2022, Ortho-Care reported net sales of approximately GBP 10 million. The company is based in Saltaire, West Yorkshire, UK and has 40 employees. Ortho-Care will be consolidated in Business Area Dental.     Lifco  has signed an agreement to acquire a majority of the shares in the German company Kefla-Glas GmbH & Co. KG . Kefla develops and distributes specialized premium glass bottles sold to various industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.  In the fiscal year 2022/23, Kefla reported net sales of approximately EUR 33 million.     Lifco issues two bond loans of in total SEK 750 million

    Lifco  has issued two unsecured bond loans with a tenor of two years within its MTN program (Medium Term Notes). The bond loans amounted to SEK 750 million, with the first bond loan of SEK 550 million carrying an annual floating rate and the second bond loan of SEK 200 million carrying an annual fixed rate. The bond loans were issued at a margin of 1.00% against three months STIBOR and the 2-year mid-swap rate, respectively. The bond generated strong investor interest.     Lifco updates its MTN program and publishes an updated base prospectus with increased framework amount

    Lifco  has updated the base prospectus for the company’s MTN program (Medium Term Notes) where the framework amount has been increased from SEK 6 billion to SEK 8 billion. The MTN program will provide the opportunity to issue bonds in the Swedish market. The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority has today approved and registered the updated Swedish language base prospectus. The prospectus is available on Lifco’s website lifco.se.
