Anders Haker has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of cash handling company Loomis with effect from June 1, 2012. He succeeds Marcus Hagegård, who is moving to take up the position of CFO at Loomis’ business in the US – the Group’s largest segment, with approaching 40 percent of sales and employees.

Anders Haker's previous positions include Chief Financial Officer at the Boliden Group and the Lundin Mining Group. He joins Loomis from a similar position at Lappland Goldminers, where he has been employed since 2010.

“Anders Haker’s wide ranging background from a number of international companies and his experience of leading finance and accounting departments at listed companies will be of great value to Loomis. Since we have chosen to have a relatively small management team, his experience of combining his area of responsibility with participating in the business operations makes him an excellent addition to our ranks,” says Lars Blecko, CEO of Loomis.

“Our US business is undergoing a significant change process that began three years ago, and the acquisition of Pendum in 2011 has further enhanced the need for effective financial control. In this, Marcus Hagegård’s experience of managing the Group accounting and finance function will be very valuable. He also has substantial experience of the US, where he lived for a number of years,” says Lars Blecko.
