Publishers have dicovered the impact of food bloggers and several winners of the Food Blogger Award have had the opportunity to publish their own books. Martin Johansson, who won in 2008, Katja Wulf winner in 2010 and most recently Karoline Jönsson 2012, the latter current with cookbook next year. – It is therefore particularly gratifying that the first prizes for the largest categories are publishing packages from BoD - Books on Demand, says Christopher Anderton, founder of Food blogger Award.
– We are looking forward to be inspired by new food trends and to publish the very best of food bloggers says Maria Bengs, head of BoD in Sweden. Through Matbloggspriset we will reach Sweden's foremost food bloggers and by publishing a book, the winners have the opportunity to gain new readers.
- We are very happy that Paul Svensson and Alexandra Zazzi, both chefs, are part of the jury for the second year running says Anderton. This means that the more professional part of the food industry is represented.
