Mott MacDonald, the leading global management, engineering and development consultancy, has appointed Andrew Doyle as manager of its technology and communications division, replacing Tom Allen. Andrew has nearly 20 years experience as a management consultant in the telecommunications, IT and public sectors. He joined Mott MacDonald in 2004 after completing a full-time Master of Business Administration (with distinction) degree at the University of Strathclyde Graduate School of Business, specialising in Strategy. Mott MacDonald designing weather envelope at Bradwell power station, UK

Mott MacDonald is acting as the designer to Vinci Construction Limited, on behalf of Magnox Limited, for the design and build of an approx £20 million weather protection envelope at Bradwell power station in Essex, UK. The two reactor buildings at the Bradwell site each consist of a reactor, two boiler houses and two circulator halls encompassing a 26,000m² surface area. Mott MacDonald has been appointed by Anglian Water Services in Cambridge to provide surface and groundwater quality modelling to help improve drinking water quality. Mott MacDonald brings energy efficient design to £5.3m dog Rehoming Centre in Shropshire, UK

A new £5.3 million rehoming centre for dogs has been completed, with the help of Mott MacDonald. The consultancy was appointed as design engineer by the Dogs Trust, the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, for the new centre located in the town of Roden. The design measures proposed and adopted should contribute greatly to the targeted BREEAM 'Outstanding' rating and, if successful, will be one of the first buildings to achieve the highest BREEAM rating.
