Mott MacDonald launches Carbon Trail Calculator

Mott MacDonald has developed a new tool to measure carbon emissions arising from the project related activities of its staff. The Carbon Trail Calculator allows users to log staff activities and uses carbon emissions factors to establish the footprint associated with each. The tool makes visible the full carbon impact of a project by showing clients the contribution of personnel, not just the embodied carbon of materials. Mott MacDonald has been appointed by Buckingham Group Contracting Limited as lead design engineer for the renovation of Llandudno railway station in north Wales. Mott MacDonald has been appointed as designer and technical advisor by Kier Construction Ltd¹ for a US$27 million hydropower expansion project located on the Black River near the town of Maggotty in Jamaica. Mott MacDonald brings energy efficient design to £5.3m dog Rehoming Centre in Shropshire, UK

A new £5.3 million rehoming centre for dogs has been completed, with the help of Mott MacDonald. The consultancy was appointed as design engineer by the Dogs Trust, the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, for the new centre located in the town of Roden.
