    Management change at Mycronic

    Anette Mullis, Senior Vice President Human Resources and member of Mycronic Group Management, has decided to leave Mycronic to take a position in another company. She will leave Mycronic at the latest 14 September 2021.     Mycronic receives order for SLX system

    Mycronic AB (publ) has received an order for an SLX mask writer from an existing customer in Asia. The order has a value of between USD 4–5 million. Delivery of the SLX system is scheduled for the third quarter of 2021.The SLX laser mask writer was launched at the end of October 2019 to meet rising demand for photomasks for the semiconductor industry, which is driven by long-term trends, and to meet the future need for replacement and modernization. Photomasks made by laser mask writers are very important in the manufacture of semiconductors and account for 70–75 percent of all photomasks

    Second quarter · Order intake amounted to SEK 651 (901) million, a decline of 28 percent · Net sales were SEK 1,086 (1,120) million, a decrease of 3 percent. The currency effect was insignificant.     Mycronic secures order for three mask writers

    Mycronic has secured an order for three mask writers from an existing customer in Asia. The order consists of one Prexision-8, whose functionality has been limited to the manufacture of photomasks up to generation 6, as well as one FPS8100 and one FPS6100. The order has been booked in the fourth quarter and is valued at between USD 30–35 million. Delivery of the Prexision system is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2019 and the two FPS systems for the second quarter of 2020.     Mycronic’s Board of Directors has appointed Anders Lindqvist as new President and CEO of Mycronic. His most recent position was at Piab Group, where he has been CEO since 2013.     Asian customer to upgrade Prexision system

    Mycronic has landed an order to upgrade a system to a full-scale Prexision-10 with expanded functionality. The upgrade will be implemented on a previously ordered Prexision-10 which was limited to production of G6/G8 photomasks. The order was booked in the third quarter and has a value in the span of USD 14-16 million.
