    At the Nobel Assembly meeting held on November 27, 2014, Professor Urban Lendahl was elected as the new Secretary for the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet and Nobel Committee for Physiology or Medicine from January 1, 2015.Professor Lendahl is Professor of Genetics at the Department of Cell- and Molecular Biology, Karolinska Institutet.     The Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet has been informed by an American news agency that a lawsuit has been filed against us by a person in Los Angeles. We have not yet received any such lawsuit and have not, therefore, been able to assess it in detail. The name of the plaintiff has never been put forward to us previously. Zierath was elected as Chairman of the Committee for 2013.
