Petri Auno appointed as new Managing Director of Nobina Finland

Petri Auno has been appointed as new Managing Director of Nobina Finland and member of Nobina’s Group management team. Currently he is Senior Vice President of VR Group.

Petri Auno will take up his new duties no later than 18.6.2019. He will replace Tom Ward, who retired at the end of 2018. Jan Bosaeus, Deputy CEO of Nobina AB, is Acting Managing Director until Petri Auno assumes his new position.

Petri Auno has worked for almost 20 years in various managerial positions at the Finnish public transport and logistics company VR Group. For the past six years, he has been a member of VR Group’s management team, responsible for locomotives, locomotive drivers and operational train services. VR Group is wholly-owned by the Finnish state and provides public transport and logistics services.
