    Uppsala Municipality makes a new decision to select NYAB and Azvi as the general contractor for the Uppsala Tramway project

    Uppsala Municipality has made a new decision to select NYAB, together with its partner Azvi, as the general contractor for the construction of Uppsala Tramway. The decision also includes an award for an order for Phase 1 of the project that includes design work, procurement of subcontractors, establishment of a production schedule, as well as calculation of project costs. NYAB previously announced on 29 October 2024 that it was selected as the general contractor for the project together with Azvi.     NYAB announced on 12 November 2024 that Klas Rewelj has been appointed as Group CFO to succeed Aku Väliaho, who will leave the company to assume a position outside the Group.     Markku Kankaala, Vice Chairman of the Board at NYAB, has informed the company that he resigns from the Board of Directors with immediate effect.     NYAB announced on 29 October 2024 that it, together with its partner Azvi, was selected as the general contractor for the construction of Uppsala Tramway. Uppsala Municipality has today informed the participants in the procurement process that the award decision made on 29 October 2024 is withdrawn.     NYAB and Azvi selected as the general contractor for the significant Uppsala Tramway project

    Uppsala Municipality has selected NYAB, together with its partner Azvi, as the general contractor for the construction of Uppsala Tramway. It has also awarded an order for Phase 1 of the project that includes design work, procurement of subcontractors, establishment of a production schedule, as well as calculation of project costs. NYAB and Azvi, a company specializing in track, electrical, signalling and telecom works in railway projects, will operate through an integrated joint venture, where both parties have a 50% participation and shall be jointly and severally liable for the client.

    NYAB Sverige has secured framework agreements for local network projects in Northern Norrland and the Malmfälten region.     NYAB extends collaboration with Luleå Municipality by two more years

    Luleå Municipality has exercised the option within the framework agreement signed in 2021 to extend the collaboration with NYAB Infrastruktur by an additional two years. The extension covers the period from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2026.The framework agreement includes planning and furthermore execution of infrastructure works within Luleå Municipality.     NYAB signs a contract of SEK 931 million in power line construction

    NYAB announced on 24 July 2024 that it was selected as the contractor for the construction of two 130 kV power lines between Hedenlunda and Oxelösund. The award has now become legally binding and the contract for the project has been signed. The project, commissioned by Vattenfall Eldistribution, has a total value exceeding SEK 931 million (approximately EUR 80 million) and is estimated to start in the third quarter of 2024 and be completed during 2026.     NYAB receives an order of SEK 931 million in power line construction

    NYAB has been selected as contractor for the construction of two 130 kV power lines between the substation in Hedenlunda and the substation at SSAB’s steel mill in Oxelösund. Total value of the project from Vattenfall Eldistribution is approximately SEK 931 million (approximately EUR 80 million).     NYAB has signed a contract for the construction of the new overhead lines from the new Degerträsk station to the steel mill and hydrogen plant in the Svartbyn operating area, also known as Boden Industrial Park.
