SkartaNYAB Plc lowers financial guidance for 2022 and publishes preliminary information on key figures of the first half of the year
SkartaNYAB Plc changes its financial guidance for 2022. According to the new guidance of the company, revenue of the group for financial year 2022 is estimated to be 225-245 million euros, and operating profit without amortization and reduction in value of intangible assets (EBITA) 14-20 million euros. In previous guidance that was published in Q1 business review on 13 May 2022, the company estimated that revenue of the group for financial year 2022 would be 220-255 million euros and EBITA 20-29 million euros.
Factors behind the change in the guidance include, among others, delays or cancellations in investment decisions by clients caused by the unstable economic environment and ongoing war in Ukraine, as well as effects of the cost inflation. Uncertainties have particularly weakened the outlook of Finnish business operations of the group, while in Sweden their effects have been modest, and growth of the Swedish group companies has continued profitably.
According to preliminary and unaudited financial information, consolidated revenue of SkartaNYAB in April-June 2022 was 55.7 million euros and EBITA 2.7 million euros. In January-June 2022, revenue was 67.3 million euros and EBITA 1.4 million euros. NYAB Sverige AB subgroup has been consolidated to the income statement of the group as of 1 April 2022.
SkartaNYAB Plc publishes its half-yearly report from period 1 January-30 June 2022 on Tuesday, 30 August 2022. Due to the silent period, the company does not give more specific comments on its financial performance before the publishing of the review.
