    Summer 2025: Swedish Opera på Skäret to stage Turandot

    It has been eight years since Opera på Skäret last produced an opera by Giacomo Puccini. Now, it's finally time again. In the summer of 2025, the opera Turandot will be staged in the large timber warehouse by the shores of Lake Ljusnaren.After this past summer’s success with Vincenzo Bellini’s opera Norma, the exciting work of planning and recruiting the production team and soloists now begins.     This summer, it's once again time for opera singers from around the world to take to the stage in the unique opera house, a former sawmill with world-famous acoustics, in the Swedish Bergslagen region.
