OrganoWood enters distribution agreement with Carl Götz in Germany
OrganoClick’s subsidiary OrganoWood has entered into a sales and distribution agreement with the German wood distributor Carl Götz GmbH. The agreement gives Carl Götz a non-exclusive right to sell and distribute OrganoWood®-wood in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Carl Götz is a leading German distributor of wood and wood based products. The company has a total of 15 distribution centers and warehouses throughout Germand and supplies leading building suppliers and DIY-stores in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
“Carl Götz is looking forward in starting sales and distribution of OrganoWood®-wood in the German, Austrian and Swiss market. We believe OrganoWood® can be an attractive alternative for many consumers and professional building companies“, says Max Zumsteg, CEO, Carl Götz.
Since 2012, OrganoWood®-wood has been manufactured and sold in Sweden. OrganoWood®-wood is today sold as:
- OrganoWood® timber decking
- OrganoWood® construction wood
- OrganoWood® poles
- OrganoWood® cladding
OrganoWood® is based on a silicon mineral impregnation technology which enhances the durability and fire retardancy of the wood without the use of biocides and toxic heavy metals. In the Nordics, the wood is sold to both consumers and professional construction companies through a large network of building suppliers and DIY stores.
OrganoWood has currently distribution agreements for several European countries, now also including Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
"We look forward in starting our expansion into the German, Austrian and Swiss markets through the collaboration with such a well renowned distributor as Carl Götz. We believe these markets offers great growth opportunities for OrganoWood and our partners during many years”, says Jens Hamlin, CEO, OrganoWood AB.
