Oterra appoints Mia Kjersner as Chief Operating Officer
Oterra, a leading producer of natural colors for the food and beverage industry, has appointed Mia Kjersner as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Mia joins Oterra on February 1 from a position as Vice President, Global Supply Chain & Regional Manufacturing for Denmark-based GN Store Nord.

Previous to her role in GN, Mia Kjersner has worked as an Associate Partner for Implement Consulting Group, heading up the Integrated Business Planning practice, including assignments at both Novozymes and Chr. Hansen. She has also held global roles in Nilfisk-Advance and Novo Nordisk.

Consumer preference for healthy and so-called clean label foods especially in the US is growing. Oterra recently opened a state-of-the art innovation, collaboration, and production hub in Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA. The 155,000 sq ft (14,400 m2) US Headquarter combines Oterra’s innovation and application labs with a new manufacturing and logistics facilities to meet the expected growth of natural colors and coloring foodstuffs in the country.
