On 16 May 2007, the Peab AGM resolved to decrease the company’s share capital by SEK 55,000,000 through the withdrawal without repayment of 5,500,000 B-shares. The shares which have now been withdrawn had been previously repurchased by Peab AB in accordance with the authority granted at the AGM on 17 May 2006. The AGM also voted to increase the company's share capital by SEK 57,187,162 through the transfer of non-restricted equity to the share capital (bonus issue), whereby the share capital would be increased without the issue of new shares.

The withdrawal of shares and the bonus issue have now be registered at the PRV (the Swedish Patent and Registration Office) and VPC (Swedish Securities Centre Register).

Following this withdrawal the number of shares in Peab AB now amounts to 81,695,944, divided into 9,805,702 A-shares and 71,890,242 B-shares.

Following withdrawal, Peab AB holds 1,815,000 own B-shares, which corresponds to 2.2% of the capital and 1.1% of the votes.
