When we sum up the third quarter Peab’s positive development has clearly continued. The level of orders received has been stable and a strong cash flow has contributed to boosted financial position. The integration of our acquired units is progressing and operations are developing according to plan.
Annehem Fastigheter owns an attractive property portfolio mainly consisting of newly built commercial property, and as a separate company it has a good platform for future profitable growth. Now Annehem Fastigheter and Peab will each continue to generate long term value for shareholders.

We have previously worked together with Forsvarsbygg and this project is evidence of their confidence in us. This is a very exciting project regarding both the actual construction work and in that we are furnishing Forsvarsbygg with better use of the dock.
We look forward to developing and preparing the port for the future together with Göteborgs Hamn. Treating the dredged material and reusing it in the project also minimizes transportation and purchasing new products, which ensures a sustainable expansion of the Port of Gothenburg. We are obviously really pleased to contribute to the region’s growth.

We are proud to be building a new elementary school in Barkarbystaden. Peab is the construction company that builds the most schools in the country, which means we have broad expertise and experience in the field. As community builders we take being part of the important work of creating a school that will exist for many generations to come very seriously.
We have prepared for this project for over a year and we are really looking forward to getting started. I think that supervisors and skilled workers alike feel working on this project is particularly meaningful since a new main street where people can meet and activities can be held is so important for the entire local community.
Bara is an attractive place to live that is constantly developing. After successfully developing these properties we are pleased to sell Nya Bara Utveckling to Brinova. We intend to focus on the wholly owned large areas of development property we have left in Bara. We see a significant need for more housing and public premises.
We are very proud at having been entrusted to carry out this comprehensive and demanding project where Etu-Töölö High School will be updated to meet current demands. It’s also exciting to be able to use our expertise in renovating a culturally historic building with significance for the area.
We are grateful to be able to continue developing Solna. With the new pool facility this area will be a great place for training, exercise and sports for Solna residents. Peab has a great deal of experience in building pool facilities - at the moment we are building, among other things, pool facilities in Kristianstad, Köping and Kiruna and have just finished an extensive renovation of Forsgrenska badet in Medborgarhuset in Stockholm.
Distributing Annehem is just as right today as it was in February. The distribution creates opportunities for further value generation for Peab’s shareholders in both Peab’s and Annehem’s business.
We are very pleased to build yet another store for the same customer and contribute to what Klaukkala Center in Nurmijärvi can offer. This is also a sign of their confidence in us.
We are grateful that we have been entrusted once again with further developing the new Kiruna. This is a very exciting project for us at Peab. Building a police station is a special kind of project since it puts, during both the tender and construction processes, high demands on security and protection but we have a great deal of experience in similar projects.
This project is an important investment in the future of the Ängelholm region which we are naturally proud to contribute to. Arenastaden reinforces its position as a meeting place and improves opportunities for people to be healthy and have meaningful spare time activities. In other words, this a good example of our locally produced community building.

Peab has weathered the consequences of the corona pandemic relatively well so far. Our business model with four collaborating business areas gives us stability even in uncertain times. The acquisition of paving and mineral aggregates operations reinforces our business model and Nordic position.

We are very proud to contribute to developing the city of Kiruna with this new pool facility. It will offer everything any Kiruna resident who loves to swim could ask for. We have previously built the Town Hall and are now building the new Culture Center, and we are grateful that we have been entrusted by the municipality to continue to develop Kiruna.
We are very happy to participate in building a school that will last for many generations to come here in Karlstad. We bring Peab’s extensive experience in building schools to this project, most recently from the construction of Västerstrand School. This knowledge helps us arrive at the best solutions.
This is a fantastic project that permits us to build new homes in Sarpsborg. The apartment buildings will be built with a concrete construction and a lot of wood in the facade, which will make them fit in well with the environment around Glomma River.

We are happy that we are once again working together with Karlstads Bostads AB. Peab has already done a lot of work transforming the area for quite some time including building several residential projects, the office building Skeppet and pre-school Lotsen. Recently we completed a new parking garage nearby. So naturally it feels really good to continue developing Karlstad.
We are proud to be part of the development of the airport together with Saab. We are a local community builder and one of the reasons we won the contract is that we have the requisite resources for the project within Peab. This is what we call locally produced community building.
This project is divided into two stages. In the first stage which began in 2017 we planned the new combi terminal with Sundsvall Logistikpark and Ramböll. Naturally we are happy that we now have the go ahead to begin construction. I look forward to Peab contributing to providing Sundsvall with a sustainable transportation hub that connects trains, ships and trucks in our region.
Naturally we are pleased to contribute to the new road improving traffic safety and better passability. One of the challenges with the project is that existing traffic has to pass by the workplace, which puts very high demands on safeguarding our personnel.
We are already building homes close by so it feels really good to continue contributing to sustainable community building when we now further increase the number of homes in the center of Eskilstuna.
We have done several projects together with Backahill, which is an important customer to Peab. We look forward to building apartments for rent for residents of Ängelholm and contributing to making more housing available. It is also great to be able to use a place with an old car park in order to enhance the city. This is a good example of locally produced community building with the environment in mind.
For us at Peab it is important to build for everybody in our community. We are manifesting this through building homes for Södertälje’s older residents together with Hemsö.
In recent years we have built a number of high class high rises in the capital city region together with Kojamo. We are very pleased that our excellent cooperation will continue in this project and that we can contribute to fulfilling the need for more housing in Espoo.
The first quarter 2020 must be considered unique. We entered the year with stable market prospects but when we closed the books the picture was dramatically different. The underlying profit from our business areas was stable in the quarter and Peab’s good financial position, high level of orders and a tried and true business model is the solid platform we stand on to face growing uncertainty.

Peab’s financial position continues to be strong and the business operates on markets with long-term good conditions for growth. Under current circumstances and considering the increase in costs due to future measures the Board believes it is prudent to withdraw the proposal for an ordinary dividend in its entirety.

It feels really good to continue our great collaboration with SSSB. Together we make it possible to build more new homes for students in Stockholm, a group which is highly affected by the housing shortage. With our broad experience in building this kind of housing we are well prepared to take on this project as well.

We are pleased to have received approval by the EU Commission allowing us to welcome all our new employees in Finland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden into the Peab Group. We look forward to further raising our competence in this important area and we have a great deal to learn from each other. At the same time the acquisition is a significant step in our ambition to strengthen our local presence and develop our work in what we call locally produced community building.
The architecture is impressive and challenges us as builders to work very closely with the developer in order to achieve a good final result. We are very proud to carry out this project.
In recent weeks developments in the spread of the Coronavirus has entailed a dramatic change in a short period of time. The effect on Peab has so far been limited but in these uncertain and difficult to predict times the Board has chosen to delay the process of distributing our Real Estate Company. The work to build and structure the Real Estate Company will continue as planned. Regarding the ordinary dividend the Board will use the time until April 8, 2020 to assess the situation as best as possible and then present the final proposal. Peab’s financial position is stable but it is of the utmost importance to have the best possible helicopter view when the proposal is presented to the Annual General Meeting.
We look forward to beginning this project immediately. The apartments will be a welcome addition to the rental market in Norrköping. Being so familiar with the area and our long experience of similar residential construction makes us well-equipped for this kind of project
