Peab has been commissioned to build a primary and middle school in Staffanstorp. The customer is Staffanstorps kommunfastigheter AB and the contract is worth SEK 239 million.

The new school will be built in the southwestern part of Staffanstorp, on the same site where the existing Stanstorp School is located. The total area amounts to approximately 8,200 m2, which will be divided into two floors. The existing school will be demolished when the new one is completed and a new schoolyard will be designed. The building will be built according to Miljöbyggnad Silver.

“This is an important investment in the future for the residents of Staffanstorp and we are proud to be able to contribute with our expertise. Building a school is a very important project for us as community builders," says Olle Olsson, Region Manager Peab.

The project is a turnkey contract in partnership. Work will begin in August 2024 and the school is expected to be completed by the autumn term of 2026. The schoolyard is expected to be completed in the spring of 2027.

The project will be order registered in the third quarter 2024.
