Peab has been commissioned to renovate 146 apartments in Tromsø. The customer is Rundvannet borettslag and the contract is worth NOK 109 million.

The renovation project comprises 146 apartments in ten blocks and includes replacing facades, doors and windows, new insulation and expanding balconies.

“This project, which means a great deal to us, is extensive and complex regarding planning, logistics and safety throughout construction. We look forward to contributing to a major upgrade of the entire housing coopertive Rundvannet,” says Kjell Christoffersen, District Manager Peab.

All the work will be done while residents continue to live in their apartments. This puts particularly high demands on good information and a close dialogue with our customer while staying focused on health, the environment and safety to ensure good progress in the project.

The project is a traditional contract. It will begin in August and is expected to be completed in August 2026.

The project will be order registered in the third quarter 2024.
