Offer to Peab shareholders with uneven lots

Shareholders in Peab AB are to be offered the opportunity to buy or sell the number of shares they need to reach a round lot, currently 200 shares, free of commission. Of Peab’s 15,200 shareholders, around 8,400 have uneven lots. 3,500 of these have holdings of fewer than 200 shares. The offer will be made in January 2005 in conjunction with FöreningsSparbanken AB/Swedbank Markets. “Many shareholders have accumulated an uneven number of shares in Peab over the years, for a number of reasons. Shareholders wishing to even out their holdings to a round lot will be able to do so free of commission. The Board believes that the liquidity of Peab shares will be improved if shareholders are given the opportunity to buy or sell the shares needed to achieve a round lot, free of commission,” comments Peab’s MD Mats Paulsson.
