Peab acquires Björn Bygg in Tromsö

Peab’s Norwegian subsidiary Peab Norge AS has come to an agreement about acquiring all shares in Björn Bygg AS and Ferdigbetong AS. Peab Norge AS will hereby take over all staff, ongoing contracts and the order backlog in Björn Bygg and all ongoing activity in Ferdigbetong.

Björn Bygg is a construction company operating in the Tromsö and Hammerfest area in northern Norway. Björn Bygg has about 200 employees and the turnover in 2005 amounted to NOK 356 million. Ferdigbetong had a net sale amounting to NOK 26 million during 2005.

The take over will be when the Norwegian Competition Authorities have completed their examination.
