Peab acquires civil engineering company active in the middle of Sweden

Peab has signed a contract to acquire Tranab Markbyggnad AB domiciled in Örebro. The company runs civil engineering operations in Mälardalen and Närke.

The company had net sales totaling SEK 264 million and 58 employees in 2016.

The acquisition requires approval from the Swedish Competition Authority and takeover is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2017.
